A quick update
Formula 1 was back at the weekend, a sport Dad has always loved, and what a great race watch with Dad in mind, seeing Jenson Button (one of his favourite current drivers) drive home in first at Spa (one of his favourite tracks)!
It’s now been five months since Dad disappeared, and it’s moments this that keep him so present to us.
There have been no real updates to speak of, the family have been carrying on with the various practical issues that this kind of situation presents (moving things into storage, keeping friends and family up to date, etc.) , but really there is very little else we have been able to do. So we stay hopeful, and carry on with him in our minds.
I dug out all the old VHS’s of family videos last week, and am slowly getting them on to the computer, bringing back some great memories, hopefully we’ll find some good ones to share as well.
We’re still receiving kind messages and support from you all, and it means so much. We’d love to hear your memories of him, and if you’d like to share any on here do let us know on johnbarnettmissing@gmail.com
